Job summary

NLH Workforce in the Mackay region seeks 2 experienced mechanical fitters for a short-term role at Paget, working in a well-established engineering workshop on engineered solutions for the resources industry. Role starts immediately and lasts at least 4 weeks, with day shifts and 12-hour shifts starting at 6:30am.

The job requires a Certificate 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, heavy engineering experience, ability to pass pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol test, and ideally OH

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade is required.
• Demonstrated experience in a heavy engineering environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical - including Drug and Alcohol test.
• OH crane, doggers and forklift tickets are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Work on engineered solutions for the resources industry.
• Take on a 4-week short-term assignment with day shifts and 12-hour days starting at 6:30am.
