Job summary

Autonomy & Asset Management Group is seeking a Workshop Mechanical Fitter for a long-term role in Brisbane. You will overhaul and rebuild mining equipment components in a busy workshop, with a Monday-Friday roster and no FIFO.

The role offers excellent rates and a stable, long-term opportunity in a clean, organised setting. Suitable candidates will hold a Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification with experience rebuilding heavy mobile plant or mining equipment components, plus strong mechanical

Qualifications

• Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification is required.
• Experience rebuilding heavy mobile plant or mining equipment components is essential.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul and rebuild mining equipment components including suspensions and wheel groups.
• Work on cylinders, pump drives, transmissions and differentials with fault-finding daily.

About the Role

You'll be overhauling and rebuilding mining equipment components including:

• Suspensions
• Wheel groups
• Cylinders
• Pump drives
• Transmissions
• Differentials

Every day is different, with a variety of rebuilds and fault-finding work.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
• Experience rebuilding heavy mobile plant or mining equipment components
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Forklift Licence (Highly desirable)
• Dogging Ticket (Highly desirable)
