The Midfield Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to support the mechanical engineering team in maintaining and improving equipment across our operations. You will assist with design, assembly, installation and testing of mechanical systems to ensure safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design, testing, data collection and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing drawings, plans and designs for mechanical equipment and plant.
• Support design and selection of mechanical tools and equipment for operations.
• Assemble and install new or modified mechanical assemblies and hydraulic systems.
