Job summary

W3Global is seeking an Engineer in Queensland to design, plan, and execute engineering deliverables for infrastructure, industrial, or energy projects. The role offers high independence, technical leadership, and collaboration with clients and contractors to keep work within scope, on time, and on budget.

You will ensure compliance with Australian Standards, WHS legislation, and environmental regulations, driving safety and quality across multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

• RPEQ and/or CPEng certification preferred or progressing towards accreditation.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in managing engineering deliverables with focus on quality, cost, and time management.
• Some understanding of small business management principles.

Responsibilities

• Managing multi-discipline projects, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee compliance with QLD Engineering ACT and Regulations and Australian Standards.
• Oversee the financial aspects of engineering deliverables to meet budgets.
• Prepare technical reports, tenders' specifications, and documents.
• Prepare project proposals and cost estimates.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members.
• Manage client relationships and contracts; identify additional work opportunities.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Travel to project sites as required.
