Job summary

Arup is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Sydney to contribute to the design and delivery of innovative mechanical solutions across multidisciplinary projects. You will develop detailed design models and simulations, ensuring optimal HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection performance, and collaborate with peers to solve complex challenges.

The ideal candidate has about 3+ years in mechanical design, familiarity with design tools, and strong analytical and communication skills.

• Contribute to project management activities to align with goals and timelines.
• Represent the team in meetings with senior engineers and stakeholders.

Salary: $80k to $100k + Superannuation.

The Opportunity

• Work collaboratively within the team to develop and deliver detailed design models and simulations for mechanical and HVAC systems, utilizing industry best practices.
• Assist in designing efficient and sustainable mechanical systems, including cooling, ventilation, and fire suppression systems.
• Support the integration of advanced technologies in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to meet client needs.
• Contribute to project management activities, helping to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines while addressing technical challenges effectively.
• Represent the team in meetings to share insights and solutions, working closely with senior engineers and other stakeholders.
