The roles start January 2027 and provide on-the-job training within Maintenance and Infrastructure, combining practical trade work with a nationally recognised qualification.

Mechanical apprentices study Certificate III in Engineering (Fitter) and Electrical apprentices Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician), gaining hands-on experience from qualified

Qualifications

• Completion of a trades pre-apprenticeship or relevant work experience.
• Willingness to contribute toward team success and a positive culture.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic with commitment to health, safety and environment.
• Motivation to study and complete coursework.
• Ability to follow direction and show initiative.
• Hold or be working towards a WA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Learn trade knowledge and skills related to plant maintenance and machinery.
• Work towards completing an apprenticeship with a recognised training plan (TAFE).
• Gain on-the-job experience with qualified trade experts.
• Work as part of a team to ensure safe, continuous operations.
