Job summary

Enviropacific is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Engineering Team, focusing on the design and delivery of packaged water and wastewater treatment plants. This hands-on role uses Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to move from concept to fabrication-ready designs.

You will develop 3D models, piping layouts and 2D drawings, collaborating with fabricators and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and project success. Experience with PFDs/P&IDs is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Approximately 5+ years' experience in mechanical design, preferably process plants.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models, general arrangements and piping layouts.
• Produce 2D fabrication drawings and detailed mechanical designs.
• Translate process requirements into practical mechanical designs.
• Coordinate with fabricators and suppliers to resolve design queries.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs and other documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and project requirements.
