Job summary

DataAnnotation in Brisbane City, QLD, is seeking a Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical and structural design. You will own projects end-to-end—from concept through detailed design and certification to client delivery—for major construction, defence, utilities, marine and manufacturing programs.

You must have 5+ years of relevant experience, a mechanical/structural/civil engineering degree, and proficiency in SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical and/or structural design experience in a consultancy or similar.
• Mechanical, structural or civil engineering degree.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
• FEA capabilities with Strand7, SolidWorks Simulation and/or Ansys.
• Knowledge of Australian design standards: AS1170, AS4100, AS4991, AS1657, AS3600.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD/CAM is valued.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

You'll have full ownership of your projects from first principles through to detailed design, certification and client delivery across; Major construction, defence, utilities, marine and manufacturing.
