Job summary

MECCA Brands is seeking a makeup artist to deliver makeup services in-store, from full glam to natural looks, and to help customers select products for their needs. You will be the in-store expert on makeup, guiding clients to the best options and ensuring a memorable experience.

The role emphasizes trend-led looks, collaboration with your team, and contributing to a welcoming, high-energy environment. In-store education and product mastery are key components of success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in professional makeup applications.
• Ability to conduct back-to-back appointments with strict timings.
• Confident in delivering top trending looks (winged and graphic liners, natural glow, smokey eyes, bold lips).
• Ability to coach and upskill peers and demonstrate makeup expertise.
• Team-spirited with a can-do attitude.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Conducting makeup application services for customers from full glam to natural looks
• Be the go-to expert in-store for all things makeup; helping our customers to find the best products for their needs and making sure everyone leaves feeling MECCA-mazing!
• Work alongside your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the store

What success looks like in this role

• Proven experience in professional makeup applications and the ability to conduct back-to-back appointments keeping to strict timings across peak trade hours Confident in delivering top trending looks; winged and graphic liners, natural glowy skin, smokey eyes, and fierce red lips
• Ability to deliver unforgettable moments for our customers that help them to feel amazing in their own skin
• Ability to coach and upskill your peers and demonstrate your make-up expertise to build the make-up category
• An inclusive, team-spirited person with a can-do attitude
