MECCA Brands is opening a new Belconnen store in ACT and seeks passionate Colour Specialists on casual contracts to help launch the team. You’ll deliver MECCA’s signature customer experiences from day one and participate in a tailored upskilling journey with dedicated coaching.

Help us open the doors to something special. We're opening an exciting new MECCA store in Belconnen, ACT, and we're looking for passionate Colour Specialists to help bring it to life from day one in casual contracts. Our MECCA Belconnen store is expected to open towards the end of 2026, with onboarding and training commencing ahead of opening. As a Colour Specialist, you'll inspire confidence through exceptional artistry, personalised consultations and expert product knowledge. You'll create memorable beauty experiences, build meaningful customer connections, and bring the MECCA magic to life every day.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Conducting makeup application services for customers from full glam to natural looks
• Be the go-to expert in-store for all things makeup; helping our customers to find the best products for their needs and making sure everyone leaves feeling MECCA-mazing!
• Work alongside your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the store

What success looks like in this role:

• Proven experience in professional makeup applications and the ability to conduct back-to-back appointments keeping to strict timings across peak trade hours
• Confident in delivering top trending looks; winged and graphic liners, natural glowy skin, smokey eyes, and fierce red lips
• Ability to deliver unforgettable moments for our customers that help them to feel amazing in their own skin
• Ability to coach and upskill your peers and demonstrate your make-up expertise to build the make-up category
• An inclusive, team-spirited person with a can-do attitude

If successful, as part of your application you may be invited to complete a one-way video interview, followed by an in-person practical makeup assessment as the final stage of our recruitment process.

Your practical assessment isn't just an opportunity for us to see your artistry—it also helps us understand your strengths and identify the best development pathway for you.

If you're successful, you'll be placed into a tailored upskilling journey, with dedicated coaching, education and hands-on training to build your confidence in delivering MECCA's signature services and customer experiences before formally stepping into your Colour Specialist role.
