We are searching for an exceptional Trading Manager at our new MECCA Bourke St store, with a deep passion for Colour, Skin or Fragrance! In this role, you’ll lead category performance within your specialty, shaping team success and delivering outstanding customer experiences across the store.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

As a Trading Manager, you'll work on a full-time basis. This may include shifts across late night and weekend peak trade.

• Lead by example, deliver and drive exceptional customer experiences while ensuring MECCA’s customer service standards are upheld.
• Work hand in hand with Assistant Trading Manager and Services Manager to drive category, brand and service performance.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of key performance indicators to drive commercial results, ensuring the team works towards these goals daily.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement trials and innovations, providing support through feedback, data analysis, and continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with concession partners to deliver a seamless customer experience, enhance operational efficiency, and drive trade.
• Operate with agility, achieving best-in-class outcomes in a dynamic environment.
• Apply critical thinking to solve complex problems using a decision‑making matrix.

What you’ll bring to this role:

• Extensive experience (minimum 2-3 years) managing a large format retail environment where you inspire, coach and train large teams.
• A true passion for exceptional customer service, going above and beyond for our customers to create MECCA-magic moments.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, internally and externally.
• Previous coaching and mentoring experience focusing on team member development.
• A make-it-happen mindset with a proven ability to develop strong relationships.
• Genuine care for people, always striving to create the best possible team member experience.
• An ability to think big and long‑term, and drive change through influencing others.
