Job summary

Australian Meat Emporium in Alexandria, Sydney, seeks a motivated team member to pack and price meat products in a cold 3-degree environment. No prior level of experience is required, as training is provided, and you will work a 5-day week with potential weekend shifts.

A casual rate applies with staff discounts and lunch benefits. Role involves operating vac seal, over-wrapper, and tray sealer, maintaining high attention to detail, and delivering friendly service in a fast-paced shop open daily

• Packing & pricing experience is very helpful, although not necessary as we can train you
• You will be packing and pricing all the meat products - vac seal, over-wrapper and tray sealer are the operation machinery
• The meat department is 3 degrees cold, you will be rugged up but must be okay with this environment
• Ability to work under pressure whilst keeping calm
• High attention to detail
• High energy level, proactive approach and always ready to assist

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate pricing and packaging quality
• Contribute to a fast-paced, cold-storage environment

We are the biggest meat cool room offering the best quality meatsdirect to the public and a unique experience for our customers. We work with a number of suppliers along with our own supply chain to ensure quality is always our highest priority.

This role is Monday to Friday - 5 days a week! 7am or 8am start - 8 hour shifts

The shop is open 7 days a week from 7am to 8pm, you may be asked to work a weekend or overtime - you must be flexible.

The (MEAT) working environment is a cold 3 degrees so this will be a requirement to work in - we do however provide you with a warm fleecy jumper, puffer jacket, beanie and gloves!!
