Job summary

Drakes Samford store is seeking a motivated and hands-on Meat Lead to manage the department and lead a small team. You will be responsible for rostering, stock ordering, stock takes and driving a high standard of customer service.

Reporting to Store Manager, you will develop staff, control costs and ensure gross profit is maximised. Experience in butchery and a passion for fresh food are essential.

Qualifications

• Australian trade qualification in Butchery is required.
• Fresh food retail knowledge is desirable.
• Strong leadership and cost-control skills.

About this opportunity:

Our Samford store is currently looking for a motivated and hard working leader, to join and lead the store's meat department.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!

Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• Possess an Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
