The City of Casey offers a Maternal and Child Health Nurse Graduate Program in Melbourne. This 2-year, part-time, structured program provides dedicated mentoring, clinical supervision and ongoing support from Clinical Educators as graduates transition from study to practice.

You will deliver high-quality, family-centred MCH services across pregnancy to school age, in a multidisciplinary team, with rotations across centres and programs and strong professional development opportunities.

Qualificações

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and Registered Midwife.
• A recognised postgraduate qualification in Maternal and Child Health Nursing, or eligibility to obtain prior to commencement.
• Commitment to evidence-informed, family-centred and culturally safe practice.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Maternal and Child Health consultations in accordance with the Victorian MCH Service Framework.
• Provide parenting support, developmental assessment, health education and early intervention strategies.
• Build respectful partnerships with families and collaborate with internal/external services.
• Participate in mentoring, clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
