The City of Casey is seeking a Team Leader Maternal and Child Health (Clinical Educator) to lead education programs, mentor staff, and ensure safe, evidence-informed services for children and families. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to strengthen workforce capability and service outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Division 1 RN, Midwife and MCH Nurse in Victoria.
• Experience leading Maternal and Child Health teams.
• Strong education and workforce development passion.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of a contemporary clinical education framework that supports safe, high-quality Maternal and Child Health practice.
• Identify workforce capability needs and design targeted education, training, mentoring and professional development programs.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and operational support to Maternal and Child Health staff to ensure consistent and responsive service delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, reflective practice, quality improvement and professional excellence.
• Lead graduate, student placement and onboarding programs to support workforce development and succession planning.
• Support workforce planning, service continuity and team performance through effective coordination and resource management.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive and psychologically safe team environment where staff feel supported, engaged and empowered.
• Contribute to quality, risk and compliance activities, ensuring services align with Maternal and Child Health standards, legislation and professional requirements.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with universities, healthcare providers, community organisations and other stakeholders to strengthen service integration and workforce capability.
• Provide reporting, insights and data-driven recommendations to support strategic workforce planning, service improvement and long-term sustainability.
