Job summary

The Grove Academy is seeking an Educator to join our team at our NSW campuses. You will create a fun, nurturing environment where children thrive and educators feel supported, delivering engaging early learning experiences and implementing programs aligned with EYLF.

You will build strong relationships with children and families, supervise activities to ensure safety, observe development, and contribute to a culture of care, collaboration and continuous improvement across our centres.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to quality care and children’s learning.
• Foundations of Child Safety training completed or willing to complete.
• WWCC required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, milestone-aligned learning experiences.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and your team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Support children’s growth through observation and documentation.

The opportunity to work alongside our in-house allied health professionals, who collaborate closely with our teams to support children’s development and help educators feel confident and empowered in their practice

About the Role

As an Educator at The Grove Academy, you’ll play a key role in creating a fun, enriching, and safe environment for children to thrive. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team and contribute to the implementation of exciting programs that inspire curiosity and learning.

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who embodies passion and enthusiasm. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Dedication to providing quality care and fostering children’s learning
• A positive attitude and love for creating memorable experiences.
• Strong understanding of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting
• Ability to identify and respond to risks to children’s safety
• Completed the Foundations of Child Safety training (or willing to complete prior to commencement).
• Successful applicants will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
