Job summary

Webuild in Australia is delivering the Perth Women and Babies Hospital project in Western Australia. We are seeking a Materials Controller (Maternity Leave cover) to join the Perth Team and ensure integrity of materials data from identification of requirement through to final delivery.

You will manage Purchase Requisitions in SAP, forecast material needs, coordinate with site teams and ensure timely receipt and issue of materials, with opportunities to learn and grow on a major healthcare

Qualifications

• Experience with material management systems, preferably SAP.
• Exposure to large-scale construction projects and supplier management.
• Strong planning, problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the Purchase Requisition in SAP.
• Support the project team to ensure materials availability in line with the schedule.
• Plan and forecast material requirements for site allocation.
• Receipt of materials into SAP in a timely manner.
• Manage materials control for materials and equipment at lay down yard and sites.
• Inspect and verify materials and documentation for compliance.
• Issue materials to site and return to lay down yard for accuracy.
• Be site point of contact to assist Materials Manager and Procurement Manager.
