Job summary

You will engage in diverse material testing, asbestos identification, air monitoring, and hygiene inspections, supporting safety and quality across projects.

The role values a science or engineering degree or TAFE Laboratory Technology qualification, plus strong communication, Word/Excel skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Forensics or Engineering or equivalent.
• TAFE qualifications in Laboratory Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Slip Resistance Testing on surfaces to verify safety standards.
• Ceramic Tile and Stone Testing for durability and quality.
• Construction Material Testing for materials used in projects.
• Luminance Contrast Measurement to assess visibility in lighting conditions.
• Asbestos Identification & Fibre Counting to support safety compliance.
• Air Monitoring & Occupational Hygiene Inspections to protect workers from dust and chemicals.
