Job summary

Vinarchy is seeking a highly organized Material Requirements Planner to ensure accurate material planning across Australia & New Zealand. You will manage MRP outputs, raise purchase orders, collaborate with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery, and identify supply risks early to minimise production impact.

This full‑time role based in Adelaide CBD offers hybrid work after probation, with 2 days from home. You will contribute to continuous improvement and data accuracy across the end‑to‑end

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in planning/purchasing in FMCG.
  • Experience coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong data interpretation and problem solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ERP/MRP system knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage MRP outputs to support accurate material planning and on‑time procurement.
  • Monitor open orders and production requirements, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyse inventory, optimise safety stock and reorder points to reduce stockouts or excess stock.
  • Investigate discrepancies, coordinate stock transfers and support data integrity.
  • Participate in supplier performance reviews and cross‑functional collaboration.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Material Requirements Planner to ensure the accurate and timely planning of materials required to support production across Australia & New Zealand.

In this role, you will manage MRP system outputs, raise purchase orders, work closely with suppliers to ensure on‑time, in‑full delivery, proactively manage open orders, and identify potential supply risks early to minimise impact to production. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to strengthen data accuracy, enhance material availability, and optimise end‑to‑end supply chain performance.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and values strong collaboration across teams. The position is full‑time and based in Adelaide CBD, and after successful completion of probationary period, has the flexibility to work 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and manage MRP outputs to support accurate material planning, timely order releases, and alignment with production schedules, inventory targets, and procurement parameters.
  • Monitor open orders and production requirements, proactively working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage changes, mitigate risks, and address potential shortages or delays to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and analyse consumption trends to optimise safety stock levels, reorder points, and batch sizes, while identifying and addressing risks of stockouts, excess inventory, or obsolescence.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, coordinate stock transfers, and support data integrity through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support supplier performance reviews and manage supplier‑related credits, returns, and discrepancies in collaboration with Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse teams.
