Job summary

WorkPac in Eagle Farm, Brisbane is seeking a Warehouse Dispatcher with forklift experience to join a busy dispatch area. You will load and unload trucks, pick and pack orders, and prepare pallets for shipping.

Requires a valid high-reach forklift ticket, two years in warehousing, and the ability to pass PEM/DAS screening. The role offers an afternoon shift, penalty rates for overtime, and a temp-to-perm pathway.

Qualifications

• Requires valid forklift ticket and high reach capability.
• Minimum 2 years in a warehousing environment.
• Must pass pre-employment medical and drug screening.
• Experience loading/unloading and palletising is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Pick parts and pack orders onto pallets.
• Build pallets and crates; operate nail gun with training.
• Fit tags to valves using hand drills.
• Strap valves/components to pallets and crates.
• Maintain the dispatch area for smooth operations.
• Use of power tools in daily tasks.

Shift Structure;

Afternoon Shift - Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10:30pm | Friday 11:30am - 5:30pm

What You Will Be Doing

Working in the large dispatch area, you will be completing the below duties:

• Loading & unloading trucks using a forklift
• Picking parts and packing orders onto pallets
• Building pallets and crates using a nail gun (training will be provided)
• Fitting tags to valves using hand drills and a small strapping machine.
• Strapping valves/components to pallets and crates.
• Maintaining the dispatch area to ensure a smooth operation.
• Use of power tools

What You Will Need

• Drivers Licence + reliable transport
• High reach forklift experience and a valid forklift ticket.
• At least 2 years of experience in a warehousing environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (PEM) and drug and alcohol screening (DAS)
