Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a hands-on pick packer for our client located in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. The role involves picking items from shelves, packing securely for transport, and accurate labeling according to order sheets. You will support inventory tasks and work across a 7-day rotating roster with penalties applied for overtime where relevant.

The start date is ASAP, offering the chance to join a respected Australian brand in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Pick packing experience is required.
• Availability to work across 7 days on a rotating roster.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Drivers Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Pick items from shelves or pallets based on order sheets.
• Ensure accurate picking of stock and quantities.
• Pack items securely to prevent damages during transport.
• Label packages with shipping information.
• Utilise packing materials efficiently to minimize waste and costs.
• Meet KPIs for operational efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse.
• Assist in occasional stock takes and inventory tasks.
• Collaborate with team to prioritise orders and meet deadlines.

About Our Client

Our client is an Australian owned natural skin, scalp and dental brand helping with lots of different skin and scalp problems and they sell their products throughout the world. From dealing with irritable skin and itchy scalps to natural sun care products and a baby range for the little ones. And most recently, a natural dental range. Their services encompass to make effective products using healthy ingredients, with continuous growth, they are now seeking multiple pick packers to join their team.

Duties

• Pick items from shelves or pallets based on order sheets
• Ensure accurate picking of stock
• Pack items securely and appropriately to prevent damages during transport
• Verify quantities and items before packing to ensure minimal mistakes
• Label packages accurately with shipping information
• Utilise packing materials efficiently to minimize waste and reduce costs
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) that are in place to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse and packing area.
• Assist in inventory management tasks such as occasional stock take
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritise orders and meet deadline
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and
