Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a reliable labourer for a busy precast concrete production site in Townsville. You will assist with manufacturing, operate gantry cranes, support welders, and work 10-hour shifts starting at 5AM, in hot conditions.

This long-term role offers potential for permanent conversion, weekly pays, and experience across multiple roles. A current HR licence, welding experience and a valid drivers licence are highly valued. Safety training and ability to pass medical tests are required.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle to get to site.
• Welding experience is highly regarded for welder roles.
• Gantry crane experience advantageous.
• HR Licence highly desirable.
• Ability to work 10+ hour shifts starting from 5AM.
• Ability to work in hot environments and complete manual tasks.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working in a busy manufacturing environment assisting with the production of precast concrete products. Duties may include general labouring, assisting welders, operating gantry cranes, or if licenced operating HR vehicles. You will be required to work in hot conditions, complete physically demanding tasks, and contribute to a productive team environment.

What You Will Need:

Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle to get to site

Welding experience (highly regarded for welder roles)

Gantry crane experience (advantageous)
