Job summary

C&C Painting Group in Canberra is seeking an experienced Project Delivery & Scheduling Coordinator to bring structure, foresight and strong ownership to the delivery of our growing project portfolio. You will own the flow of accepted projects from handover through to completion, actively drive the master schedule and coordinate project readiness and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction project coordination, trade-contractor operations, contracts administration or assistant project management.
• Strong scheduling and forward-planning capability across multiple concurrent projects.
• Working knowledge of variations, progress claims, project documentation and close-out requirements.
• The ability to organise incomplete information, anticipate requirements, identify risk and establish clear next actions.
• Confident communication with clients, builders, field teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong systems capability, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Commercial awareness, initiative and the judgement to escalate material issues early.

Responsibilities

• Build and actively manage the master forward schedule across residential, strata and commercial work, aligned with committed dates, available capacity and delivery targets.
• Coordinate project scheduling and planned staff and subcontractor allocations with field leaders, anticipating capacity constraints, delays and downstream impacts.
• Own project readiness from acceptance to commencement, including scope, access, colours, stakeholder requirements, materials, documentation, inductions, SWMS, security and other pre-start requirements.
• Coordinate active projects through delivery, maintaining communication with clients, builders, strata stakeholders, field teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress, hours and completion forecasts, identify delays, overruns and delivery risks early, and drive agreed actions through to resolution.
• Manage variations from identification through approval and invoicing, including scope, evidence, pricing coordination, submissions, approvals and records.
• Coordinate invoicing readiness and prepare commercial progress claims, ensuring completed work, approved variations, supporting records and deadlines are captured.
• Manage practical completion, defects, rectifications, callbacks, warranty requirements and project close-out through to completion.
• Maintain accurate project information and contribute to improving the systems, procedures and workflows that support efficient project delivery.
