Job summary

Advance Delivery Consulting in Sydney CBD seeks a hands‑on Master Scheduler to own and evolve a complex scheduling environment across multiple IT and digital transformation streams. You will manage the Integrated Master Schedule, administer Project Server / MS Project Online, and drive critical path and dependency governance with senior stakeholders.

You will design executive reporting, align release plans, and support a hybrid waterfall/Agile delivery model from Sydney, with three days onsite

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years as a hands‑on Master Scheduler on complex IT transformation or digital transformation programs.
• Deep expertise in MS Project and Project Server / MS Project Online — including environment setup, reporting configuration, and ongoing administration.
• Demonstrated experience establishing or inheriting and evolving schedule governance frameworks, standards, and controls.
• Strong critical path methodology — defining the approach, not just applying one.
• Experience designing dependency management frameworks and processes across multi‑stream programs.
• Sydney-based with capacity for 3 days per week onsite in Sydney CBD.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established scheduling environment and evolve it in line with delivery needs.
• Own and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule across all delivery streams.
• Manage and administer the Project Server / MS Project Online environment including reporting structures, security models, and data architecture.
• Define and implement the critical path management approach and maintain ongoing analysis.
• Design and maintain the dependency management process and reporting framework.
• Establish and chair schedule governance sessions with stream leads and program leadership.
• Develop executive-level reporting including progress trends, schedule performance, and delivery risk visibility.
• Maintain the consolidated deployment run-sheet for release coordination across workstreams.
• Partner with PMO, project managers, and delivery teams to improve planning discipline and cross-stream visibility.
• Identify schedule risks and deviations early; recommend corrective actions.
• Support hybrid (waterfall + agile) delivery across concurrent workstreams.
• Exhibit strong stakeholder engagement with executives, PMO, vendors, and delivery teams.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and resource forecasting.
• Exposure to Primavera P6 as a secondary scheduling tool.

• Take ownership of an established scheduling environment (Project Server, IMS, governance framework) and evolve it in line with the program’s changing delivery needs
• Own and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across all delivery streams in MS Project / Project Server
• Manage and administer the Project Server / MS Project Online environment including reporting structures, security models, and data architecture
• Define and implement the critical path management approach and maintain ongoing critical path analysis
• Design and maintain the dependency management process and reporting framework, covering internal and external dependencies
• Establish and chair schedule governance sessions with stream leads and program leadership
• Develop executive-level reporting including progress trend analysis, schedule performance, and delivery risk visibility
