Job summary

TripADeal is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to act as the central engine for end-to-end campaign management, product scheduling, and media delivery. You’ll report to the Marketing Manager and collaborate across Marketing, Technology, Delivery, Product, Sales & Service, Accounts and Partnerships to drive growth and efficiency.

This 12-month maternity leave contract is 100% onsite from Byron Bay with the option to work from Gold Coast two days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' dedicated experience in end-to-end campaign or project management across traditional or digital media channels.
• Experience coordinating with multiple internal teams and external partners.
• Familiarity with marketing reporting tools and project management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and execute campaigns across brand, tactical, and co-op marketing activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track and manage campaigns in project management tools (Google Suite and Monday.com).
• Collaborate with Product to schedule activity across channels per campaign requirements and SLAs.
• Coordinate with creative services and external agencies to deliver above-the-line assets while tracking costs and deadlines.
• Liaise with partners (e.g., Qantas Loyalty) to ensure compliance and alignment.
• Create pre- and post-campaign performance reports for visibility and optimization.
• Identify and refine internal marketing workflows and process documentation.

Job description

The Marketing Operations Specialist serves as the central operational engine for end-to-end campaign management, product scheduling, and media delivery across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of brand, tactical, and partnership marketing activities. By managing campaign workflows, adhering to strict retail SLAs, and coordinating with key external partners such as media agencies and the Qantas Loyalty Group, the role directly drives measurable growth, brand integrity, and marketing efficiency.

Organisational Structure

The Marketing Operations Specialist reports directly to the Marketing Manager. The role acts as a primary cross-functional specialist, collaborating internally with Marketing, Technology, Delivery, Product, Sales & Service, Accounts, and Partnerships teams. Externally, the position builds and maintains strong relationships with Qantas Loyalty, media agencies, Co-Op partners, and third-party vendors.

This position is a 12-month maternity leave contract, working 100% onsite working from our Byron Bay office (with the option to work from our Gold Coast - Varsity Lakes office 2 days a week). Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm - you choose!

A Day in the Life

• Maintain and execute campaigns across brand, tactical, and co-op marketing activities working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
• Track and manage campaigns in project management tools (Google Suite and Monday.com)
• Collaborate with the Product team to schedule activity across multiple channels according to campaign requirements and SLAs.
• Coordinate closely with the creative services team and external agency to create and deliver above the line assets including TV, press, OOH, and radio while tracking production costs and adhering to station deadlines.
• Liaise with Qantas Loyalty and Legal to align on campaign activity and ensure compliance.
• Create pre and post campaign performance reports and share with the business to ensure visibility, alignment and optimisation
• Continually identify and refine internal marketing workflows and process documentation.

To be a Front Running Candidate

• Minimum 2 years' dedicated experience in end-to-end campaign or project management across traditional or digital media channels.
• Demonstrated track record of operational and process excellence, with strong expertise in workflow improvements.
• Practical understanding of marketing reporting tools, Google Business Suite, and project management platforms (such as Monday.com).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate in dynamic and broad internal teams, and with external media agencies and corporate partners.
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a relevant discipline
• Working within the travel industry or a marketing agency will be highly regarded
• The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check
