The Job
This is a minimum 3 month contract with possible extension to 6 months, working full time in our office at Sydney Central. We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to keep the marketing teamrunning smoothly. This is a coordination and support role that puts you right in the middle of the action, working with people across the business in our marketing team and the broader business.
Working closely with the team, you'll keep projects on track and make sure nothing falls through the cracks between a meeting, a brief and the people who need to act on it. You'll sit in on meetings, capture briefs accurately, handle the admin behind the team’s projects, and support the marketing team in a number of different projects, and liaise with the external agencies we work with.
What you’ll get to do
Capture briefs. Sit in on meetings across the marketing team and the wider business, take clear notes, and turn discussions into accurate, actionable briefs
Run the admin. Coordinate the day-to-day administration behind marketing activity, including budgets, timelines, purchase orders and supplier bookings
Manage suppliers. Liaise with external providers such as agencies, printers, photographers and contractors to keep projects on track and delivered to brief
Connect the business. Work with internal stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and relay updates back to the marketing team
Be the point of contact. Field agency and internal queries on marketing campaigns and promotions, and elevate where needed
Keep everyone in the loop. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of briefs, approvals and project status, so the team always knows where things stand
Coordinate the logistics. Organise meetings, workshops and events, including scheduling, agendas and materials
Support the team. Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Manager and wider team as needed
What we’re looking for
Experience in a marketing environment, ideally within hospitality, tourism or Food and Beverage sector
Excellent organisation. You can juggle multiple briefs, meetings and deadlines without losing track of the detail
Strong attention to detail, especially when capturing instructions and briefs accurately the first time
A clear, confident communicator, in writing and in person, equally comfortable with internal teams and external suppliers.
Strong stakeholder management, with the confidence to keep internal teams and external providers aligned and informed
A proactive, can-do approach. You're happy moving between admin, meetings and stakeholder queries and having some fun in-between
