Job summary

Tabcorp, home to TAB, Sky Racing and MAX, is hiring an Associate Trader in Sydney. In this casual role you’ll monitor live events, review customer bets and help manage odds across sport and racing. You’ll work with an experienced team and develop skills by seeing how betting markets operate behind the scenes.

The roster includes evenings, overnight shifts and weekends to cover major events, offering training, support and exposure to leading betting markets.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with numbers, percentages and basic calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
• Ability to process information and make decisions confidently.
• Confidence using technology and learning new systems.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Interest in sport or racing and willingness to learn.

Your opportunity

Internally we call this role an Associate Trader and, in that role, you'll monitor live events, review customer bets and help manage betting odds across sport and racing.

You’ll work alongside an experienced and supportive team, develop new skills and learn how betting markets operate behind the scenes.

This is a casual role with a rotating roster, including evenings, overnight shifts and weekends. You’ll be working when many of the biggest sporting and racing events are taking place, giving you a unique opportunity to be part of the team helping bring those moments to life.

Your role

When customers place bets on a race or sporting event, someone needs to check those bets, monitor the odds and keep track of how much money is at risk. That’s where you come in.

• Review customer bets and identify anything requiring attention
• Monitor live events and track changes affecting betting odds
• Help adjust odds as sporting and racing events unfold
• Monitor betting activity and flag potential risk exposures
