Zusammenfassung

SeaLink SEQ is seeking an HSE Assistant to support safety and compliance across our maritime operations in Queensland. You’ll work with leaders, crew and stakeholders to implement Safety Management Systems and continually improve risk controls.

The role suits someone with admin experience in HSE, a Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS (preferred), and strong written and verbal communication. Training in incident investigation is a plus, and Marine knowledge would be welcomed.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with HSE practices in administration, coordination, internships or entry-level roles.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS preferred.
• Organised, detail oriented with strong teamwork.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• WHS and Environmental legislation familiarity; Marine knowledge a bonus.

Aufgaben

• Support maintenance and improvement of HSE Safety Management Systems.
• Promote safe working environment and assist with risk management processes.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions follow-up.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, risk assessments and audits.
• Assist with monitoring training needs and emergency drills.
• Stay informed on WHS, Environmental and Marine legislation.
• Help administer the online safety management system.
• Be an active member of the HSE Committee and safety initiatives.
