Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services in Henderson, Western Australia invites experienced Project Engineers or graduates to join the SeaReady team for commercial ship docking, repair and maintenance projects. You will own work packages, coordinate contractors, and manage scheduling, procurement and day-to-day project administration to ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

Reporting to the SeaReady Project Manager, roles offer development toward greater responsibility and potential

Qualifications

• Strong organising, planning and co-ordination abilities.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with scheduling, procurement, cost control processes.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a project-driven marine environment.

Responsibilities

• Own ship repair work packages, including scope reviews, estimates and packs.
• Maintain docking schedules and progress reports against key dates.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, materials and site activities.
• Record decisions and follow up actions from client meetings.
• Obtain quotations and process purchase orders within authority.
• Track deliveries and check invoices against orders.
• Maintain accurate project files, registers and timesheets.
• Capture lessons learnt to improve future delivery.
• Support safety inspections and ensure quality records and handover packs.
