Job summary

Parnell Veterinary Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Alexandria, Sydney facility. You will help run a busy warehouse, ensure stock accuracy, and support QA and logistics to maintain compliant stock flow.

The role requires hands-on, reliable individuals with ERP and MS Office skills, and a forklift licence or willingness to obtain one. You’ll work in a regulated, safety-first environment with a strong emphasis on cGMP practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution role (pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment highly regarded).
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one) highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and put-away incoming stock including raw materials, packaging components and finished goods.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch with high accuracy and compliance.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move stock safely.
• Process transactions in the ERP system including goods receipts and transfers.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Ensure correct storage, FIFO/FEFO, and labelling per cGMP requirements.
• Support QA, production, and logistics to ensure smooth stock flow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, warehouse environment in line with WHS standards.

Job description

We're on an exciting growth trajectory and we're looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Alexandria, Sydney facility.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you'll be part of our growing operations team where no two days are the same. You'll have the autonomy to own your work, the challenge of keeping a busy warehouse running smoothly, and the satisfaction of knowing that what you do every day directly contributes to animal health outcomes around the world.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

This role suits a physically active, reliable individual who is equally comfortable on their feet in the warehouse and working confidently with computer systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

• Receiving, checking, and put-away of incoming stock, including raw materials, packaging components and finished goods
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures
• Operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks) to move stock safely around the facility
• Accurately processing transactions in the ERP system, including goods receipts, transfers, and dispatches
• Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with cycle counts and stocktakes
• Ensuring correct storage, rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and labelling of stock in line with cGMP requirements
• Supporting quality and compliance processes, including quarantine, hold, and release procedures for pharmaceutical stock
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse in line with WHS standards
• Liaising with QA, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth stock flow
• Any other tasks related to the role as requested by the Warehouse Co-Ordinator

ABOUT YOU

You're a hands-on, reliable individual who takes pride in your work and thrives in a physically active, fast-paced environment. You bring:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution role (pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment highly regarded)
• Confidence and proficiency using computer systems, including ERP platform and Microsoft Office
• Physical fitness and capability to move around the warehouse regularly, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one) highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling stock records and documentation
• A safety-conscious approach and understanding of WHS practices
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role is physically active and requires the successful candidate to be able to, with or without reasonable adjustments:

• Stand, walk, and move around the warehouse and facility for extended periods throughout the shift
• Lift, carry, push, and pull stock and materials of varying weights (up to 20–25kg) on a regular basis
• Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to store and retrieve items from various heights, including use of ladders or step platforms where required
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures, and exposure to dust, noise, and moving machinery
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for the role
