Job summary

Parnell Veterinary Pharmaceuticals in Alexandria, Sydney, is seeking Sterile Manufacturing Operators to join its production team. You will manufacture and package sterile injectables and related formulations for veterinarians and pet owners worldwide, reporting to the Production Manager.

The role requires aseptic technique, strict SOP adherence, and GMP compliance, with flexible morning/afternoon shifts. Experience with vial washing, autoclaving and sterilisation prep is valued, and LEAN

• Experience as an operator or technician in the pharmaceutical industry with aseptic sterile manufacturing processes.
• LEAN Manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial but not essential.
• Flexibility around working hours and availability on weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with area SOPs and current GMP.
• Dispensing and bulking material prior to the sterilised filling process.
• Operate automatic production equipment for washing and filling sterile injectable products.
• Performing cleaning and sterilisation of mixing tanks (CIP and SIP).
• Set-up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot filling line as needed.
• In-process product inspection.
• Participate in the On the Job (OJT) training program, area safety and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Cleaning GMP graded areas including sterile manufacturing rooms.
• Practice aseptic technique independently.

Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

Parnell is on an exciting growth trajectory and we're looking for Sterile Manufacturing Operators to join our team at our Alexandria, Sydney manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a great opportunity to join FDA approved facility. Our professional operators manufacture & package sterile injectables, liquids, formulations that are sold to veterinarians, farmers, and pet owners all over the world. This person will be part of the Production team, which also includes Production Co-Ordinators and Production Operators.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with area SOPs and current GMP.

Dispensing and bulking material prior to the sterilised filling process.

Operating automatic production equipment for washing and filling sterile injectable products.

Performing cleaning and sterilisation of mixing tanks (CIP and SIP)

Clean pre and post use change parts and prep for sterilization.

Set-up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot filling line as needed.

In-process product inspection

Participate in the On the Job (OJT) training program, area safety and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Cleaning GMP graded areas including sterile manufacturing rooms.

Practice aseptic technique independently

ABOUT YOU

Experience as an operator or technician in the pharmaceutical industry with aseptic sterile manufacturing processes.

Willingness to work morning or afternoon shifts (0600-1400 or 1000-1800) highly preferred

A technical aptitude with some machine setting and basic changeover experience.

A good understanding of GMP principles and practices.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOP’s.

Previous experience working Vial washing, Autoclaving and preparation of components for specific sterilisations.

LEAN Manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial but not essential

Flexibility around working hours and availability on weekends

Deviation investigation and report writing
