Job summary

Porta is seeking a Manufacturing Technologist to join the Product Innovation team in Somersby. You will work closely with manufacturing operations to improve processes, solve technical challenges, and support the development of new products and production capabilities.

The ideal candidate has a Science, Chemistry or Engineering background, with strong analytical and hands-on problem-solving skills, and a keen interest in manufacturing and innovation.

Qualifications

• A degree in Science, Chemistry, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach to technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality and efficiency.
• Monitor production performance and investigate technical issues.

• Support product development, formulation, testing and optimisation.
• Assess how raw materials and processes impact product performance.
