Porta, a long-established Australian-owned business, is seeking a Technologist to join its Product Innovation team in Somersby. You will collaborate with manufacturing operations to identify process improvements and support new product development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and hands-on approach.
• Experience in manufacturing, process engineering or product development is advantageous but not essential.
• Build broad technical experience across manufacturing, product development, process improvement and innovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, quality and efficiency.
• Monitor production performance and investigate technical issues.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment-related challenges.

• Develop testing, quality and operational standards.
• Work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement.
