Job summary

Amplified People is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer for a broad Process & Technology role in Sydney. You will tackle a range of manufacturing engineering activities, from factory-floor problem solving to industrialisation and equipment improvement, driving digital manufacturing projects.

You will work across production lines, applying data-driven approaches, BI/SQL/Python where appropriate, and collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams to deliver tangible

Qualifications

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
Experience in manufacturing, production or process engineering.
Understanding of manufacturing equipment and production processes.
Problem-solving and continuous improvement experience.
Interest in automation and data-driven improvement.

Responsibilities

Improve manufacturing processes, production efficiency and equipment performance.
Identify practical solutions to production challenges to reduce downtime, waste, and costs.
Support industrialisation, new product introductions and process development.
Work across a range of processes and equipment, including automation technologies.
Analyse manufacturing data, cycle times and performance to identify improvements.
Contribute to automation, equipment upgrades and CI projects.
Explore opportunities to improve manufacturing with digital tools and data analytics.
Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams.
