Job summary

Employment Hub Global partners with a North Brisbane manufacturer to hire an Engineering Technologist who will oversee production improvement projects, analyse machinery and processes, and support troubleshooting to sustain throughput and quality.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3+ years' full-time experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. A base salary of AU$85,000 plus super is offered along with development opportunities and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum of three years of full-time experience in a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills essential.
• Ability to develop programs to simulate service life of mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement: manage projects to boost safety, efficiency and quality.
• Analyse and monitor machinery, processes and workflows to optimise efficiency.
• Conduct work measurement studies to establish labour standards.
• Assist production teams in troubleshooting and maintaining throughput and quality.
• Support safety compliance with relevant machine safety requirements.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Report KPIs to directors with insights for improvement.
