Orica, a global leader in mining and infrastructure solutions, seeks a Finance Business Partner focused on Manufacturing Finance and Product Costing at the Deer Park site in Victoria with a primary role supporting Emulsifiers and Reagents. You will integrate with plant leadership to drive cost efficiency, profitability, and capital decisions.

The role requires hands-on costing, BOM practice, and strong stakeholder collaboration across manufacturing and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CA/CPA/CIMA qualification or progress towards.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting/finance within a large organisation.
• Hands-on product costing experience in manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Partner with plant leadership to provide financial insights into manufacturing performance and support operational decision-making.
• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the Deer Park manufacturing facility.
• Lead product costing activities, including standard costing, cost-per-unit analysis, and manufacturing cost variance analysis.
• Analyse raw material, production, and operational costs to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved profitability.
• Review product costing structures, BOMs, and provide costing estimates for new products.
• Provide financial and commercial support to the Emulsifiers and Reagents business to drive profitability.
• Deliver sales, margin, and profitability analyses to inform commercial decisions and planning.
• Evaluate business cases, capital investments, and cost reduction opportunities.
