Job summary

Orica is seeking a Finance Business Partner for the Deer Park facility in Victoria. The role focuses on manufacturing finance, product costing, and driving profitability across the Emulsifiers and Reagents business. You will partner with operations and commercial teams to optimise costs and enable informed decisions.

Applicants should bring hands-on costing experience, strong communication, and professional accounting qualifications, with a path towards CA/CPA/CIMA where possible.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across levels.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen translating financial data into insights.
• Hands-on product costing in manufacturing, including standard costing and variances.
• Knowledge of manufacturing finance processes, including BOMs and inventory costing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership to provide financial insights into manufacturing performance.
• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for Deer Park facility.
• Oversee product costing activities, including standard costing and cost variance analysis.
• Analyse costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction and profitability.
