Zaparas Lawyers is seeking a hands-on Engineering professional to develop and optimise manufacturing processes for both new and existing products, with a focus on metal fabrication and assembly. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring development concepts into repeatable production.

You will design jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve capability, quality, and consistency, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement on site.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent mechanical trade qualification.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, production or process engineering.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly, incl. sheet metal, CNC machining, pressing, bending and welding.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, introducing new products into production and improving operations.
• CAD capability, ideally SolidWorks, with experience designing jigs, fixtures or tooling.
• Familiarity with BOMs, routings and ERP/MRP systems.
• Collaborative, hands-on approach with production teams and technical stakeholders.
• Able to commit to an onsite role.

The Role

• Design and develop jigs, fixtures and tooling to improve manufacturing capability, quality and consistency.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste and enhance product quality.
• Support the introduction of new equipment, processes and manufacturing technologies.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process instructions, bills of materials and production routings.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive practical solutions across cutting, bending, pressing, welding and machining processes.
• Support products throughout their lifecycle, including ongoing improvements to established products manufactured across global operations.

About You

• A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering, or a relevant mechanical trade qualification.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, production or process engineering.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly processes, ideally including sheet metal, CNC machining, pressing, bending and welding.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, introducing new products into production and improving existing operations.
