Full-Time
Are you an experienced CNC machinist with leadership skills, or a manufacturing professional who still enjoys getting on the tools?
Amiga Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and technically experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our advanced manufacturing team.
We are looking for a practical, solutions-focused individual who can work alongside our existing production and management teams to coordinate manufacturing operations, support workshop activities and contribute to the efficient running of our business.
This is a hands‑on management position. The successful applicant must be willing and capable of stepping onto the workshop floor to assist with CNC programming, setting, operating and general manufacturing activities when required.
Established in 1988, Amiga Engineering is an innovative Australian advanced manufacturing company specialising in precision CNC machining, metal additive manufacturing (3D printing), fabrication and complex engineering solutions.
For over 38 years, we have delivered thousands of projects across Australia, building a reputation for precision, quality and innovation.
Our diverse manufacturing capabilities include 5‑axis simultaneous CNC machining, CNC mills and lathes, manual machining, vertical boring, welding and fabrication.
We manufacture for industries including Defence, Aerospace, Space, Medical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining and Food & Beverage.
Accredited to AS9100D and ISO 9001, we pride ourselves on delivering high‑quality manufacturing solutions and tackling challenging manufacturing projects.
As Manufacturing Manager, you will work closely with our existing production and management teams to coordinate daily manufacturing operations, support workshop activities and ensure production runs efficiently.
The position combines production planning, technical leadership and hands‑on manufacturing responsibilities. You will assist with managing workflow, coordinating staff and resources, resolving technical challenges and maintaining customer delivery commitments.
You will also work collaboratively with other departments, customers and suppliers to ensure manufacturing requirements are understood and production objectives are achieved.
The successful applicant will be expected to actively participate in CNC machining and other workshop activities when required, particularly during busy periods, staff shortages or critical production deadlines.
We are looking for someone who leads by example, supports their colleagues and is equally comfortable coordinating production as they are working directly on the workshop floor.
