Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating impact on student growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice with parent feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Develop, implement and evaluate curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom duties as directed by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
