Job summary

Kaliba is partnering with a Melbourne-based Managed Services Provider to appoint a Managing Director who will take full ownership of the MSP business unit. You will lead the division, shaping strategy and building a high-performing team while reporting to the CEO.

You will drive revenue growth, profitability and client outcomes, overseeing service delivery, projects and operations. This is a senior leadership role with strategic influence on the company’s future direction.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership within an MSP environment.
• Experience managing technical teams and customer outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen with exposure to P&L, utilisation and recurring revenue.
• Credible technical knowledge across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, backup, DR and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Service Desk and Infrastructure Engineers (L1–L3).
• Own the Managed Services P&L, including revenue, profitability and utilisation.
• Drive operational excellence across service delivery, projects and customer experience.
• Build trusted relationships with key clients and act as the senior escalation point.
• Improve processes, automation and AI adoption to increase efficiency and service quality.
• Work closely with the CEO to help shape business strategy and future growth.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Kaliba are partnering with a well-established Melbourne-based Managed Services Provider to appoint a Managing Director to take full ownership of the company's Managed Services business unit. This is a rare opportunity to lead an established, profitable MSP division, reporting directly to the CEO and playing a key role in the company's future growth.

This isn't a traditional Service Delivery Manager role. You'll have full responsibility for the commercial success, operational performance, client relationships and leadership of the Managed Services division.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and develop a team of Service Desk and Infrastructure Engineers (L1–L3)
• Own the Managed Services P&L, including revenue, profitability and utilisation
