Job summary

Healthdirect Australia in Sydney is seeking a Manager, Technology Supplier Management to lead end-to-end supplier and contract governance for the Technology function. You will own contract repositories, drive vendor performance analysis and align partnerships with value realisation, while mentoring a direct report.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading supplier and contract management in complex tech environments.
• Experience procuring, negotiating, transitioning and governing managed services and outsourcing arrangements.
• Direct practitioner-level experience in contract administration, obligations tracking and vendor performance analysis.
• Strong commercial acumen, including negotiation, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and value-for-money assessment.
• Experience building and embedding supplier management processes and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end relationships with Technology suppliers and vendors, chairing performance reviews and resolving escalations.
• Lead negotiation, renewal, variation and exit of Technology supplier contracts, owning the contract repository and obligations registers.
• Govern commercial performance of managed service contracts, including SLAs, service credits and benefits realisation.
• Lead implementation of the Build, Buy, Partner framework, governing sourcing decisions against it.
• Perform vendor performance analysis and prepare governance reporting for senior leadership and Executive forums.
• Build and embed intelligent client capability, leading commercial transition of new managed service arrangements.
• Lead and develop the Technology Spend and Operations Analyst, providing cover during absences.

About the opportunity

The Manager, Technology Supplier Management is the end-to-end accountable leader for Technology's supplier and vendor relationships, contract lifecycle and commercial governance of partnerships. You will lead one direct report while personally performing the commercial and contract governance work, including contract repository ownership, vendor performance analysis and Build, Buy, Partner framework support. Operating in a period of significant change, you will transition technology supplier management from a transactional activity into a strategic function that governs commercial partnerships and drives value realisation.

You are an experienced supplier and commercial management practitioner who thrives operating across strategic, analytical and hands-on work. You bring strong commercial acumen, senior stakeholder management skills and the ability to land at pace and deliver from day one.
