Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Australia seeks a Manager to lead the Forensic Technology Services team in Melbourne. You will guide investigations, data capture, analysis and reporting for high-stakes matters and collaborate with clients and internal teams.

You will mentor junior staff, manage multiple projects, and travel as needed. Expertise with Nuix, Relativity, Magnet AXIOM and related tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity or eDiscovery within a client-facing professional services environment.
• Experience with EDRM principles and electronic discovery processes.
• Hands-on experience with major eDiscovery platforms and forensic tools from listed software.
• Ability to manage multiple investigations, document findings, and communicate clearly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end forensic data handling across identification, recovery, processing, analysis and preservation of digital evidence.
• Oversee forensic imaging and data capture on-site and remotely from diverse devices.
• Maintain data integrity and chain-of-custody documentation for investigations.
• Lead eDiscovery lifecycle activities including collection, processing, review and production of electronically stored information.
• Draft technical reports and summaries for legal teams and clients.
• Guide client interviews, set expectations, and identify risks early.
• Mentor junior team members and manage multiple workstreams.
