Job summary

NSW Rural Fire Service is seeking a strategic leader to oversee fleet partnerships and end-to-end lifecycle management. The role involves planning and delivering innovative, fit-for-purpose fleet solutions that respond to changing operational needs.

The incumbent will manage complex asset lifecycles, contracts and delivery programs with a strong emphasis on value for money and risk management. Based in Marsden Park with hybrid/flexible working arrangements and potential travel to different RFS

Qualifications

• Experience delivering fleet solutions across stages: planning, acquisition, build, maintenance and disposal.
• Strong commercial and strategic leadership with complex asset lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic partnerships with industry and internal stakeholders to deliver fleet solutions.
• Own end-to-end fleet lifecycle including capability planning, acquisition, builds, maintenance and disposal.
• Translate evolving capability requirements into practical fleet solutions and delivery programs.
• Demonstrate strong delivery focus on risk, value for money and future capability.

Job description

Location: Marsden Park (hybrid/flexible working arrangements considered) - this role may be required to travel to different RFS facilities.

Key responsibilities

• You will lead strategic partnerships with industry and internal stakeholders, delivering innovative, sustainable and fit-for-purpose fleet solutions that respond to changing operational needs.
• This role plays a pivotal part in end-to-end responsibility for the fleet lifecycle including capability planning, acquisition and complex build programs through to maintenance, enhancement and disposal.
• To thrive in this role, you will have: Seeking a strategic and commercially strong leader with experience managing complex asset lifecycles, contracts and delivery programs.
• You will bring strong operational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate evolving capability requirements into practical fleet solutions.
