Job summary

NAB is seeking a Manager, Emerging Criminal Threats to lead a specialist team focused on current and emerging criminal threats in Australia. In the role of Manager, Emerging Criminal Threats, you will join the Group Investigations team as we strengthen our focus on customer obsession.

• Identifying, assessing, and prioritising emerging criminal threats impacting NAB and its customers
• Turning investigative insights into actionable criminal threat reports and briefings

You’ll bring to this role:

• Experience in complex investigations, financial crime, fraud, or intelligence
• Experience leading, coaching or managing a specialist analytical or investigative team
• Strong knowledge of banking related criminal threats, including scams, fraud, insider threats, bribery and corruption
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail across all documents, systems, and presentations
• The ability to identify and prioritise emerging criminal typologies and translate insights into actionable observations
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior, risk, control and operational audiences
• Sound judgement, analytical capability and high ethical standards when dealing with complex and sensitive information
