Job summary

Talentpath Recruitment is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant for Ringwood North VIC. You will partner with operations, provide insightful reporting, budgeting and costing analysis to influence business performance in a busy manufacturing environment.

This hands-on role demands partnering with operational leaders, driving productivity, profitability and continuous improvement. Hybrid work allows 2 days WFH per week after settling in.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification required.
• Experience in manufacturing or product-based environment.
• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting capability.
• Hands-on cost accounting including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Experience analysing margins, labour costs, overheads and operational performance.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Analyse financial performance and provide commercial insights.
• Partner with operational leaders to drive business performance.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing and overhead allocations.
• Investigate cost variances and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations and audit requirements.
• Develop KPI reporting and performance dashboards.
• Conduct financial modelling and ad-hoc analysis.
• Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and costing information.
