Agrifutures is seeking an ambitious Management Accountant / Finance Analyst to join their ANZ finance team in Sydney. You will partner with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain, handling month-end, trade spend, and commercial analysis to deliver actionable insights.

The role offers ownership, broad stakeholder exposure and the chance to drive efficiencies across finance while ensuring GST compliance and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in management accounting, financial accounting or commercial finance.
• FMCG or consumer goods industry experience highly regarded.
• Strong month-end accounting and financial reporting capabilities.
• Exposure to trade spend, promotional funding, customer rebates or claims management advantageous.
• Confident communicator who partners with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly and monthly financial reporting, highlighting key performance drivers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across the ANZ business.
• Own month-end activities including journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage trade spend, promotional funding, customer rebates and discounts.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to track promotional investment and profitability.
• Analyse trade spend effectiveness and provide actionable commercial insights.
• Investigate and resolve customer deductions, claims and outstanding balances.
• Support financial controls, audit requirements and GST compliance.
• Enhance reporting, automate processes and drive efficiencies across finance.

About the Role

About You

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
• 3+ years' experience in management accounting, financial accounting or commercial finance
• FMCG or consumer goods industry experience highly regarded
• Strong month-end accounting and financial reporting capabilities
• Exposure to trade spend, promotional funding, customer rebates or claims management advantageous
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into commercial insights
• Confident communicator who enjoys partnering with non-finance stakeholders
