Stratco (Australia) Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the finance team in Adelaide. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will bring numbers to life with insights that drive smarter decisions and stronger business performance.

The role covers management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory and commercial analysis, and offers exposure to Australia’s best-known brands within a successful international business.

Qualifications

• We’re seeking an accounting professional with solid commercial acumen.
• Degree-qualified in accounting; professional designation pursued or held.
• Experience in management accounting and financial reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end process and deliver accurate financial results.
• Prepare monthly P&Ls, budgets, forecasts and reports.
• Analyze performance and turn data into insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to challenge assumptions and find opportunities.
• Maintain general ledger and balance sheet integrity.
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Support stock counts and accurate inventory valuations.
• Prepare daily operating and performance reports.
• Handle BAS, FBT, and other taxation requirements.
• Collaborate with finance peers on improvements and initiatives.

At Stratco, we’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll have the opportunity to do more than just report the numbers — you’ll help bring them to life, providing insights that support smarter decisions and stronger business performance across the Stratco Group.

This is a key role with plenty of variety, spanning management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory and commercial analysis. You’ll work with stakeholders across the business, gaining a genuine understanding of what drives performance and where opportunities lie.

Responsibilities

• Own the month end process, delivering accurate and timely financial results
• Prepare monthly P&L's, budgets, forecasts and management reporting
• Analyse performance, identify trends and turn numbers into meaningful insights
• Partner with stakeholders to understand results, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities
• Maintain the general ledger and balance sheet integrity
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Support stock counts and ensure accurate inventory valuations
• Prepare daily operating and performance reports
• Manage monthly BAS returns and assist with FBT and other taxation requirements
• Work closely with the Financial Controller and broader finance team on business initiatives and continuous improvement

About you

We’re looking for someone who combines strong accounting fundamentals with commercial curiosity and the confidence to make a difference. Your expertise and attributes will encompass:

• Degree qualifications in Accounting
• CA or CPA qualified, or working towards qualification
• Proven commercial accounting experience
• Oracle experience preferred, with Peach or MYOB experience advantageous
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
