Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in Accounting.
• CA or CPA qualified, or working towards qualification.
• Proven commercial accounting experience.
• Oracle experience preferred, Peach or MYOB experience advantageous.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability.

Responsibilities

• Own the month end process, delivering accurate and timely financial results.
• Prepare monthly P&L's, budgets, forecasts and management reporting.
• Analyse performance, identify trends and turn numbers into meaningful insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand results, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities.
• Maintain the general ledger and balance sheet integrity.
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Support stock counts and ensure accurate inventory valuations.
• Prepare daily operating and performance reports.
• Manage monthly BAS returns and assist with FBT and other taxation requirements.
• Work closely with the Financial Controller and broader finance team on business initiatives and continuous improvement.
