Job summary

Winc is seeking a Service Technician in Hobart to service, repair, and maintain customer office equipment to high standards. You will diagnose faults, perform onsite installations and network configurations, and provide remote support to IT teams and managed services customers.

Reporting to the MPS Service Team Leader, you will contribute to customer satisfaction, meet productivity targets, and help keep parts inventories aligned with service demands.

Qualifications

• Certificate or qualification in Technology or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a copier/service technician.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of computer and print management software, including PaperCut, UniFlow, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain customer office equipment to a high standard.
• Diagnose machine faults, repair equipment, and conduct final inspections and testing.
• Perform onsite installation of equipment, network configuration, and end-user training.
• Provide remote support to the IT Tech team and Managed Services customers.
• Support Sales teams with pre- and post-sales technical assistance.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of parts and support equipment.
